12+ years developing complex software in Formula 1, energy, medical devices and insurtech. PhD in computational science from Imperial College London.

Serial founder and fractional CTO. Co-founded a deep-tech startup (€1.5M+ funded, FTSE 100 clients); first engineer at a startup with an 8-figure exit; led distributed teams across multiple organisations.

Regulated-industry specialist. Achieved ISO 27001; built compliant platforms for health testing, energy contracts and financial settlements.

Saman Sadeghi Afgeh MPhil

10+ years in ML and AI R&D, from computer vision to deep learning. MPhil from Cambridge, with peer-reviewed publications spanning medical imaging, contrastive learning and explainable AI.

Led ML and data science teams at public companies, designed end-to-end deep learning pipelines for ad optimisation, and built data science functions from scratch.

Computer vision and generative AI specialist. Led video rendering at Spirable. GAN-based anomaly detection research with Moorfields Eye Hospital and City, University of London.

AI multiplies whatever processes you already have, good or bad.

Today’s AI coding tools have made writing code far cheaper. You get more throughput, but the bottlenecks move. Operational improvements that used to be too expensive are now viable, and they’ll soon be expected.

Data is still gold. LLMs can now bring order to disconnected systems, manual processes and legacy ways of working. We use them to deliver deterministic, structured systems that solve real business problems today.

Results we’ve delivered.

Sports video · Build

Personalised highlight videos, matched to the right person by AI.

A sports video start-up films players and sends each one a branded video. The footage arrives before anyone knows who is in it, and matching it by hand doesn’t scale.

We built the multi-tenant platform on AWS, with automated branded video composition and secure delivery. Our AI visual matcher was proven in shadow mode against a blind holdout before it was trusted with live matches.

Sports streaming · Retain

Single sign-on and video infrastructure for a white-label streaming platform.

A streaming company runs services for sports organisations, each with its own brand, payments and identity system. Governing bodies needed their members to sign in with the accounts they already had.

Ongoing engineering leadership: a partner API with standards-based token verification, single sign-on with a national governing body, tenant isolation, security hardening and a lower-cost video pipeline.

Connected hardware · Review

A clear path from fast-built prototype to secure, scalable product.

A hardware start-up had shipped fast, with AI-generated code going straight to production. As its user base grew, access controls, testing and database load became real business risks.

An independent review across app, firmware, website and database, with every finding verified against the source. The client got a report, a risk register and a phased roadmap, then asked us to scope the next build.
